The day is captured and the fact the horse had been named after their late beloved golden retriever; the day frankie dettori rode the horse; and also another good racehorse of theirs so you can see how much can be incorporated in a comissioned artwork to your specs; and just read Lyndsey's reaction on receiving the gift from her husband;

Unfortunately Alan did not manage to manoeuvre the picture to keep it a secret until my birthday, so I am already the proud owner of the most wonderful picture ten days before my birthday. David – it is absolutely spectacular and a fantastic memory of one of the best days of my life. You probably think this is a little over the top but I can tell you it was very special. You have captured the whole atmosphere and I am thrilled. It is on the wall in my study, also known as the animal room, with pictures of other horses and our dogs.
I understand you are coming to see it again in about six months to ‘do’ a few things so I hope we will meet then.
